May I welcome our new members:

Hilda Harkins and Beverley Weir from Walton -le-dale.

Michael and Elizabeth Giles from Claughton-on-Brock.

You are all very welcome. Our new and recent members wear badges with a green spot so they can be identified. Please help them to make friends and enjoy our meetings.

CHORLEY FLOWER SHOW

After our success at last year’s flower show where we won a gold award, a dedicated team are again putting on a display at Chorley Flower show, which is on the 28th and 29th of July at Astley Park, Chorley. Please support us by attending the show, now in its third year. It is proving very successful and gets bigger and better each year. There is free parking at Botany Bay, just off the M61 with free shuttle buses to take you to the show ground. If you are able to help with stewarding our stand at the show please sign up on the list on the back table. Stewards will get a free entry ticket. You will cover a 2 hour shift. HPS logo poloshirts are available to wear as stewards. As we will not be exhibiting at Southport Flower show this year this will be your only chance to see what we can do. Most of the plants we will be using in the display are grown by our members, not bought in.
